Tie-dye has been in existence for centuries with different techniques having originated from Peru, Japan, Thailand and Africa. It first imprinted itself in modern culture with the hippies of the 60s and 70s and later the 90s, when everyone from housewives to popstars were in on the look. Love it or hate it, it keeps coming back.
For Summer 2012 we've released a number of hand dyed pieces using a marble tie-dye technique. Each garment is gathered into a ball, wrapped up with rubber bands to make a tight ball, and placed into dye. This means that each piece is completely unique.
Check out our Blue Marble Tie-Dye Shorts, Tie-Dye Tote Bags and Tie-Dye T-Shirts. All these pieces are strictly limited edition and come individually numbered. We've also created two Striped Tote Bags where the colour has been bleached out of the black canvas, then re-dyed. These two totes also feature a white screen print and Collect label on the inside.
Finally we created a pair of Blue Red Dip-Dye Denim Shorts, made from reengineered Levi's 501's. These are limited to only 5 pieces so be quick!
