Launch of G-Shock Collaboration

Collect London / G-Shock collaboration designs at the Casio G-Shock product launch on Friday 21st at the Old Truman Brewery

We’ve kept a lid on this one for a while now but we’re very excited to finally announce the launch of our first collaboration with Casio G-Shock.

We’ve teamed up with Casio to create two ultra Limited Edition t-shirt and watch sets for 2010. Created around our Spring Summer collection theme ‘Folk Fantasy’ each set includes 1 of only 10 t-shirts, watches and prints. Following our philosophy of creating timeless, design led pieces with a real attention to detail each watch, t-shirt and print has been obsessed over with every piece being individually hand printed, numbered and signed.

Limited Edition watch, t-shirt, print and presentation box - what a package!

Louisa Todd, Collect London regular and Richard Fairhead, newcomer for SS 10, are the geniuses behind these two designs. It’s not easy to transfer watch design to t-shirt but Louisa and Rich have hit the nail on the head. Louisa’s skull print takes a nod to the past with it’s retro styling while she has carried the print through to the watch so it has an almost Aztec feel.

Anyone familiar with Rich’s work will know that he is a master of creating weird and wonderful characters and symbols – his design here is no exception with a striking mermaid skull, anchor, starfish and rare red bird creating what can only be dubbed a “nautical punk” look.

Packaged up in beautiful boxes with watch, t-shirt and signed and numbered print these are sure to be collectors’ items. If you’re wondering where you can get hold of your very own then the bad news is you’ll have to wait a little longer. While the collaboration is being officially unveiled today as part of Casio G-Shock’s wider launch of their new product range, the watch will not be available until June 24th, when it will go on sale in Casio’s new Brick Lane store. Don’t forget there will only be 10 of each design going on sale so you better get yourself down to East London on 24th June and snap yours up pronto! We will however be holding one watch back which we will be giving away to one lucky  person – all you have to do is sign up with your email address on the homepage and keep your fingers crossed until 30th June when we will be announcing the winner!
